The Archer family have been farming the rolling pastures of the Durham-Tees Valley since 1976. The third generation now help to run the farm and the ice cream parlours.

The original Archers Ice Cream Parlour opened in May 2004 at New Moor Farm as a diversification project to add value to the milk. The milk price was so low after foot and mouth that many farms had to close. Luckily, our ice cream business helped us survive this very hard time and we’re very grateful.

In 2008, we opened our second Archers Ice Cream Parlour at The Station in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
